G'Day Everyone!
Dr. St. John Marsden will be coming into the Adreno shop front at 54-58 Deshon Street, Woolloongabba, Brisbane at 8am on 24 March 2010 to conduct dive medicals! We will be having him come into our shop to conduct medicals at least once month to try and make it a little more convenient for you all. He is a wealth of diving experience and of course medical expertise! If for some reason you do not pass your medical, Dr St. John will only charge you a regular consultation fee which is covered by medicare! However, as a fellow diver he will do all in his power to get you in the water! Last edited by Diver John; 03-09-2010 at 04:38 AM. Reason: not finshed |

Venue: Adreno Dive Centre, 54-58 Deshon Street, Woolloongabba
Agenda: Spanish Armada & Medical Marvels by Dr. St. John Marsden Time: 6.30 pm, 25th March 2010 We are delighted to share the great news about our fantastic club evening on the 25th of March. We are thrilled to have the pleasure of Dr. St. John Marsden , “Dive Doctor and Spanish Armada Hunter” to present his story of being involved with the finding of 3 Spanish Armada wrecks off the West Coast of Ireland and some of the quirky tales of things he has encountered as a dive physician. As you can imagine; as a diving veteran and dive physician, St. John has encountered some interesting dive injuries and has some remarkable tales to tell! St. John has also had the privilege of being the dive physician and photographer for a group of divers who had pinpointed the location of 3 Spanish Armada wrecks previously undiscovered. Come and hear St. John recount his eerie experiences of realising that he was the first person to have seen these glorious vessels since they had sunk hundreds of years before. A living graveyard of fish, cannons, cannon balls and much, much more! So make sure you don’t miss this amazing opportunity to see the photos and hear first hand St. John’s memories of the wrecks and the fascinating stories he has collected as a dive physician extraordinaire. We will very much look forward to welcoming you on the evening and hope that this is as educational and inspiring as we believe it will be! |
